*Devy = Devil = Dongfang Qingcang
In a secret place, wherever that is, Ronghao reflects on all the problematic choices he has made because of his Shifu, one of which is making a deal with the Evil Voice and trying to kill Goddess Xishan for her power. But he doesn’t regret any of those decisions.
In the mortal realm, Devy and Changheng continues to hang out. That day, Devy and Orchid bring Changheng and Wanqing to a restaurant so they can meet again and hopefully fall in love this time.
While eating, Changheng shares his forlorn situation with Devy, giving us more comedy than we could ever ask for.
He confesses to Devy that there’s something he wants to do but can’t find the courage. Devy responds that whatever it is, he has Devy’s support. Well, OK! Changheng storms to the center of the restaurant and pulls it down for everyone to see: a portrait of Orchid he has painted in mega size.
Devy and Orchid find each other immediately and replan. They agree to get Changheng and Wanqing together now at all costs. Wanqing is looking around for Orchid; on the other side of the restaurant, Changheng is yelling Devy’s name. So Orchid and Devy part ways to carry out their mission.
But, alas, Orchid is Orchid. Despite the urgency of the situation, she stops for some roasted chicken at a table since she’d been starving.
Drunk and confused, Changheng stumbles into her. Oops. The maiden in the painting, he exclaims.
On the other side, Wanqing opens a door and Devy is right there. Now she believes that Devy is her destiny for real.
Thanks, Orchid and Devy.
