Inside the Dream Realm, Fengjiu wakes up from her coma. She believes the Donghua in front of her is just a dream – without knowing that the both of them are, in fact, stuck in a dream – and makes her move on him. Who would have thought Si-ming and Liansong’s gossip could be so powerful. They really gave this ship a sudden burst of speed.
They roll around on the bed (quite literally) for a while before beginning to talk about what’s going on and how to escape. The scene contains enough sweet to give you ten cavities. Dilmurat is as adorable with her reactions as always, though.
So, it turns out that Fengjiu has lost some of her memories. Conveniently, she doesn’t remember the latest mean trick Donghua pulled on her with the Fruit. Donghua takes this opportunity to tell her that they are engaged to be married. Erm… why?
Fengjiu is surprised; because her family only like sons-in-law who are well-born and well-positioned in society. Since Donghua’s origin is unclear and he has retired, he wouldn’t meet their expectations. Are you sure, Fengjiu? Because I was led to believe that the fox clan don’t care for mundane things like fame and money.
They love nature, do charity work, and take no part in the world’s affairs. They’re so peace-loving that their ruling monarchs hardly ever have anything to do. That is why they’re so powerful — because they understand power correctly.
What’s that? Those are just excuses for Bai Qian to spend all her time drinking and reading fiction? OK, got it.
After this conversation, Donghua puts Fengjiu to sleep. Then he zaps them both through space and time, creating a reality in which Fengjiu is princess Aranya of the Bird Clan and he himself is… some guy with black hair. Or it can just be someone with the same face as his, we don’t know yet.
It’s no doubt part of Donghua’s plan to get them both out of the Dream Realm with a minimal amount of blood-spitting.
Outside, Xiaoyan is too worried about Fengjiu that he becomes impatient and seeks help from his demon fellow leaders. But these guys naturally see this as an opportunity to overthrow the heaven. Well, that was obviously not smart, Xiaoyan. But then, considering how Donghua dealt with the Fruit, the standard of “smart” is a little shaky here.
Some demon lords are reluctant, but several are eager to start a war. But why doesn’t any of them seem to remember that the heaven is actually run by Yehua and his grandfather, not Donghua. And Yehua is pretty powerful too, isn’t he?
Back to the Dream Realm, some story is being carried out. The black-haired Donghua is sad because Aranya, aka Fengjiu, is set to marry another man. Please be General Ye, please be General Ye…
