Qianfan and his father have dinner together. It isn’t voluntary on Qianfan’s part, as we can see. Once again, Lord Xiao asks Qianfan to quit his job and come work with him instead. He even acknowledges in front of Qianfan that his other son is kind of useless.

Qianfan says that if Lord Xiao lets them be, he would be glad to let him be a grandfather to his future children. Hmm, someone’s getting ahead of himself.

Meanwhile, Pan’er and Qianfan spy on spot Yinzhang and Ruzuo from their own boat. Pan’er is happy for Yinzhang. For now, I guess. Because she hasn’t actually interacted with the guy and just takes Qianfan’s word for it so far.
